CLUE
2022
As both the Student Director and Set Designer for Clue, I was tasked with crafting a distinctive set that reflected the playful and quirky elements of the production. One of the key features I designed was an octagonal structure, painted to resemble the iconic Clue cards from the game. The cards were strategically placed in windows, allowing the audience to easily identify which room they were in as the story unfolded. Additionally, I conceptualized and executed the design for a wall that could be pushed through to either separate two rooms or reveal a secret passageway. This interactive element added to the mystery and intrigue of the production, enhancing the theatrical experience.
TRIFLES
2023
For the production of Trifles, a play set in the 1900s Midwest, I designed the set to create an atmosphere that reflected both the eerie and comforting tones of the story. I designed a small, intimate home that would be positioned in the corner of the black box theater, carefully considering the spatial layout to immerse the audience in the world of the play.
LITTLE WOMEN
2024
Designing the set for Little Women presented a unique challenge due to the play’s numerous scenes and large ensemble cast. With multiple locations and rapid scene changes, I needed to create a flexible set that could transition quickly while maintaining distinct, meaningful settings for each scene. To accomplish this, I incorporated the fly system to efficiently change the backdrop and transform the stage between scenes.
At the heart of the design was a stationary main stage that served as the core of the production, providing a consistent foundation. Additionally, I designed a versatile stairwell that could be easily rolled on and off stage, effectively indicating a second level of the setting when needed.
CHAPTER 21
2025
As the Production Designer for the film Chapter 21, I was responsible for bringing the wedding reception scenes to life through thoughtful and cohesive design. I created custom centerpieces for each table, designed and built the decorative archway placed behind the bride and groom’s table, and helped with the design of the servers’ station in order for it to look real on screen. In addition to my design work, I managed continuity throughout the shoot, making sure that every prop and decor element remained consistent across scenes for a seamless final product.
